My Big Campus is the safe, online extension of the classroom that Web 2.0 can be offered in a controlled, monitored, and filtered environment. While My Big Campus may appear to be just another social network, don't let it fool you. My Big Campus is completely different because all of its social features including blogs, discussions, wallposts, events, and messaging are centrally controlled in the My Big Campus administrator's console. The Resource Library is populated by educators across the country and reviewed by the Lightspeed Database Team. As such, every item in the library is allowed to bypass the filter. While the Resource Library is openly accessible, all other features require a login with appropriate permissions.

Other mobile devices with Internet access can connect to My Big Campus with the built-in web browser. Note that depending on the capabilities of your device, some features may not work as you expect.
