• Thespian Honors, Letters and Awards

     

    To become a Thespian:

    ·         A student must accumulate 10 Thespian Points.  Thespian points are determined at the discretion of the Thespian Sponsor and are determined by the amount of time a student works on a particular production.

    ·         The student must be recommended by the Thespian Sponsor on the basis of his cooperation, sense of responsibility and loyalty to the program.

     

     

    To Letter:

    ·         A student must have participated in theatre at North for two school years.

    ·         A student must have participated in at least two of the four productions each year during the period above.

    ·         A student must have been initiated into the International Thespian Society Troupe #57, and been a member in good standing for at least a year.

    ·         The student must be recommended by the Thespian Sponsor on the basis of his cooperation, sense of responsibility and loyalty to the program.

     

     

    To Receive the Gold Star:

    ·         A student must have lettered in theatre in a previous year.

    ·         A student must have participated (in a more significant role than front of house worker) in three of the four shows that year, OR

    ·         A student must accumulate an additional thirty Thespian Points.

     

     

    To Receive the Drama Masks:

    ·         A student must have received the Gold Star in a previous year.

    ·         A student must have participated (in a more significant role than front of house worker) in three of the four shows that year, OR

    ·         A student must accumulate an additional fifty Thespian Points.
