New Virtual IU Tour Launched!

The IU Bloomington Office of Admissions invites you to come visit us through our new virtual tour! The tour offers a comprehensive and interactive look at the entire campus as well as student life--and you can tour from anywhere and at any time you choose via laptop or mobile device. Visitors to this interactive experience are led through the campus by real IU tour guides who explain the significance of each stop and, along the way, interweave stories about the history and traditions of the university. Also, visitors can view 360-degree panoramas as well as standard photography and a few videos.

Check out the new tour when you get a chance and please encourage any interested students to make a virtual visit! As a general reminder about campus visits, please note that Admissions tours are typically filling at least two to three weeks in advance of the tour date and reservations are required! Late spring and summer are great times to visit IU Bloomington.

ATTENTION SENIORS!!!  College applications have begun!

Many applications can be done electronically through the college website. Several colleges utilize the common application: www.commonapp.org

Apply early! Some priority deadlines begin mid-October. Check each college website for details.

Request a transcript electronically by going to www.parchment.com  and creating an account. Students do not need a registration code. Select "deliver" and choose your college or university. Remember to bring the counselor recommendation form to Guidance and submit to Mrs. Vandergriff.

Counselors will be meeting with seniors individually during the first 9 weeks. If you would like to be a part of this conference, please contact your student’s counselor to schedule. Conference topics include: Graduation requirements, college admissions, career goals, financial aid, etc.

Email Mrs. Vandergriff at vandergriffk@bcsc.k12.in.us to begin receiving weekly scholarship updates!

Seniors need to register at www.parchment.com to request their transcripts.  East holds a senior meeting to discuss Naviance account information with students.  On their Naviance account, the seniors need to make sure their email address is updated.  This is where they will automatically receive emails where they can click on the parchment site to request transcripts also.   Seniors are also able to explore college and career choices along with adding their resumes to their Naviance account.
