TBD -- 6th grade tournament is usually in between (11:15-12:45) but the teachers are suggesting not to separate them out (Email:In the past, 6th grade has had some alternative activities in comparison to the other grade levels due to behavior. We think that this group can handle and would enjoy more of the activities that are being offered to other grade levels. An activity that we know they like is the four-way volleyball game that they do in P.E.. I'm not sure when PTO will be discussing this, but I just wanted to put a bug in your ear. Thanks!)
6th Grade Graduation, Friday, May 31 – Five (5) Non-6th grade Parent volunteers needed to serve cake & punch ~1-2:30
1. Diane Doup
2. Amie Shoemaker
Next Year’s Organization unable to determine with such a low attendance tonight.
Officers vs. Steering Committee Suggestions for encouraging better involvement: Mr. Boezeman suggested hosting a parent night out for PTO members to make plans while he and Ms. Davis chaperone kids playing in gym or have an animal demonstration brought it. Separate Rocket Booster Newsletter that is not mixed in school newsletter Separate Rocket Booster info to go home after Open House when overwhelmed with so many papers. Better information throughout the year about what PTO is and how to get involved – even mid-year.
