Our programs for SRA (grades 1st-3rd) and Corrective Reading (grades 3rd - 6th) are up and running school year.
These programs are intervention  programs that will help children not reading on grade level.  If your child is not reading on grade level, then he or she is placed in the appropriate group for remediation.  These students will meet with a trained staff member to work on 5 basic elements of Reading.
 These elements are 1. Phonic Awareness 
                            2. Letter -Sound/Decoding
                            3. Word Recognition & Spelling 
                            4.  Fluency (Reading Rate)
                            5. Comprehesion Strategies
 
Helping your child to become a better reader is key to a sucessful education.  If you would like to learn how to better do this, let your childs teacher know.
