   A little preview. . .

     Sox Unseen

Sam’s favorite colors are blue and green, so it’s not surprising that he has six blue sox and six green sox in his sock drawer.  Unfortunately, they are hopelessly mixed up and one day, in complete darkness, he has to grab some sox to wear.

How many sox does he have to take from the drawer to make sure he gets a matching pair—either green or blue? (For some strange reason, his mother insists that his socks have to match!)

Answer:  Come to the first MATH CLUB meeting and find out!
