Columbus East students in Ocean Science class learned about the ocean from the inside out during the annual trip to Seacamp at the Newfound Harbor Marine Institute in Big Pine Key, Florida. Ocean Science students travel to Seacamp to brave the barracuda patrolled, jellyfish ridden, shark infested, hurricane vulnerable waters of the northern Caribbean! They endure a long plane ride and van drive while happily working on school assignments, and upon their return, are granted three days in ocean science class to catch up. Thank you for supporting this annual "Magic School Bus-ish" real life learning adventure--it was a great learning experience for all!
