Columbus East Ocean Science class learned about the ocean from the inside out when they visited Seacamp at the Newfound Harbor Marine Institute in Big Pine Key, Florida September 29 - October 2, 2009. Students saw whales and dolphins, collected urchins and horseshoe crabs, snorkeled on an coral reef, swam with sharks and barracudas, and petted jellyfish. It was a time of genuine learning and memorable experiences. Ask our kids how a goliath grouper looks up close!
