Construction Engineering Technology
Construction Engineering Technology (CET) is a progression of study centered around the skilled construction trades. Coursework includes construction safety, reading construction documents, framing, roofing, siding,electrical wiring, HVAC, drywall, finish carpentry & flatwork. Students successfully completing the beginning coursework may have the opportunity to complete the intermediate and advanced levels of work at the Barcon worksite. Upon program completion, students receive certification in carpentry from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).
