     Vernet Fluid Thermostatic Regulation Governor's Work Ethics Certificate (GWEC) Scholarship


    The  Vernet Fluid Thermostatic Regulation Governor's Work Ethics Certificate (GWEC) Scholarships, established in 2018, are being awarded to two Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation graduating seniors. 

    The main purpose of these scholarships is to help 2 graduating seniors from the Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation that has been awarded the Governor's Work Ethics Certificate (GWEC) and is planning to pursue a post-secondary education and or military.


    • 2 - $500 scholarship will be awarded in May 2018.
    • The scholarships will be awarded to a graduating senior from Columbus North High School and Columbus East High School, and has been awarded the Governor's Work Ethics Certificate (GWEC), to help with expenses for college, trade school and/or military enlistment. 
    • The winner will provide information about future training.  Checks will be sent to college or trade school for tuition, books or supplies.  If recipient is pursuing a military career, the check will be made out to the student. 

    Selection Process:

    • Bartholomew Consolidated School Foundation (BCSF) will provide the applications for students to complete.  BCSF will send all completed applications to Vernet Fluid Thermostatic Regulation Contact.  Scholarship. BCSF will prepare the certificate and paperwork to ensure prompt payment to post-secondary collage/ trade school or student if entering military.
