Math Homework Help Opportunities

 

Morning Math Help

Mr. Miller will give each Tyro student a pass at the beginning of the school year.  This pass should be taped inside the students’ blue books.  Students who need math help in the morning can show Mr. Johnson this pass.  The pass will allow them to go to room 220 (Mr. Miller’s room) before school.  Students who use the pass are expected to go directly to Mr. Miller’s room, not to their lockers or the restroom.  Students may arrive as early as 7:25 and stay until 7:42, when students are dismissed to go to their lockers before first period.  If your child loses his/her pass, he/she should request a replacement from Mr. Miller.  If a student misuses the pass, he/she will lose the opportunity for morning math help.  Mr. Johnson will not allow any student to seek math help after 7:35 a.m.
 

Warm-ups and Workouts Help Sessions

Mr. Miller holds 30-minute morning and after school help sessions prior to the math warm-ups and workouts due date.  These help sessions are usually on Monday.  Sessions are before school in room 003 from 7:15-7:45 and after school in room 107 from 3:15-3:45.  All ten problems will be completed either in the morning help session or in the afternoon help session.
