• Mrs. Keele
    th grade)

Mrs. Keele transitioned into teaching after originally earning her bachelor's degree in management from Purdue University.  Prior to teaching in the Academic Challenge program, Mrs. Keele was a 1st grade teacher at Southside and was even an AC student herself many moons ago.  She earned her high ability license from Ball State University in 2010 and completed her master's degree in May 2013.  She also serves as a high ability mentor for BCSC and as Southside's Math Bowl coach.

She has been married to her husband Seth, a former Southside Mustang, for almost 19 years, and they have three wonderful sons.  Graham will be a freshman at Columbus North H.S. while Flynn continues his career as a Mustang in the AC program, and last but not least, little Boden just turned two on March 31.  As a family, they love to read, play games, and spend time outdoors hiking or biking.  Mrs. Keele also loves to watch her boys play soccer.  As a teacher, she loves being able to instill her passion for learning in her students!
    Mrs. Stidam (5th grade)
Mrs. Stidam recently joined the Southside teaching staff on the Academic Challenge (AC) Team.  We are fortunate to have had Mrs. Stidam working daily as an integral part of the AC team since early September 2015.   Mrs. Stidam has a good knowledge of the program, the curriculum, daily schedule, and familiarity with the students.   Mrs. Stidam holds a teaching license from Indiana University and is a parent of a student in the AC program; both benefits to our students.

    Mrs. White (6th grade)

This is Mrs. White's first year as the 6th grade AC teacher at Southside.  Before coming to Southside, she taught middle school mathematics for 17 years.  Mrs. White attended Eastern Illinois University where she earned her degree in Elementary Education and also earned an endorsement in middle school mathematics.  In 2002, she received her Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Indiana Wesleyan University.
Her husband, Brett, teaches math at North High School.  He is also the assistant girl's golf coach and an assistant for the girl's basketball team. Together they have two daughters, Madison (age 13) and Kaitlin (age 10).
Mrs. White enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors.  She also loves to play and watch basketball and volleyball in her spare time.
