    More than 80 colleges will be here to provide information about their schools. Signing up in advance here will eliminate filling out information cards at each table, just bring the bar code from your registration.   • 2018-2021 School Calendar

    The 2018-2021 official calendar has been approved by the school board. 

     

    Two major changes include Thanksgiving Break decreasing from 1 week to 3 days and the "snow make up days" of Spring Break moving to the FIRST week of break. The only guaranteed week of Spring Break will be the second week. These changes will begin with the 2018-2019 school year.

    East students place 1st and 3rd in the
    Ethnic Expo Poster Design Contest
     
    Columbus East students participated in the recent Ethnic Expo Poster Design Contest. The Ethnic Expo Committee, which is hosted by France this year, selected the winners from paintings and drawings from BCSC students.
     
    Mckenzie Brown won First Place for her French Girl interpretation of France, and Claire Kilbarger-Stumpff won Third Place for her depiction of the country of France, with small french inspired paintings within it.
     
    Mckenzie Brown's drawing will become a large Ethnic Expo poster, and the posters will be available for purchase during Ethnic Expo on Friday October 13th and Saturday October 14th, 2018.
     
    Profits from the sale of the poster will be awarded and split between Columbus East Art Department and Mckenzie.
