Shining Stars! The following students participated in the Indiana State School Music Association Solo & Ensemble Festival held on Saturday, January 29, 2012 at Columbus East High School.  Students played a solo or were part of an ensemble.  They were evaluated by a panel of judges and each received a rating along with comments of their performance.  Gold Division Rating is the top rating a student can receive.  Some students who chose to play Group I (very difficult music) music and received a Gold Division are eligible to compete at the ISSMA State Solo & Ensemble Festival to be held in late February.

Gold Division Soloist Winners: 
Andrew Henrichson, Lauren Champion, Jessica Pevlor, Paige Prowant, Kelly Langevin. 

Silver Division Soloist:  Kaitllyn Milvert, Jacob Villager, Ben Walker.  

Gold Ensemble Winners:  Paige Prowant, Serena Kelley, Lauren Champion, Amanda Sun. 

ISSMA State Solo Qualifiers:  Andrew Henrichson (violin and trombone) Lauren Champion. 

ISSMA State Ensemble Qualifiers:  Paige Prowant, Lauren Champion, Amanda Sun, Serena Kelley.
